Historic Wedding Day

Katie and Matthew asked us to meet them for our first consult at their home in Leavenworth.   This was unusual we rarely take our show on the road but in this case we packed everything up and headed out.  We understood once we got there.

Their home was a 100 year old classic civil war mansion they were restoring. They were going to hold the reception in their home and wanted to make sure we appreciated the importance this house played in their wedding day.

We had not seen the house for almost six months after the engagement shoot and were blown away at their progress.  Besides the major restoration work that had been completed, Katie and Matthew had provided a number of personal touches around the house that showed their unique style.  It was warm, country, and perfect.
