A Family Tradition

Whenever you see the bagpipe players warming up outside the church, you know it’s going to be a good wedding ceremony.

Hannah and Andrew started their day at the Mission Hills Country Club.  This is always one of our favorite wedding spots because the club has one of the nicest dressing rooms for women.  After shooting details and getting dressed, Hannah let her dad see her for the first time in the sitting room.  We then setup a first reveal with Hannah descending the great wraparound staircase at the club.

The ceremony took place at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.  This is not only a great historic church in Kansas City but the same church Hannah’s parents were married in. I Love family traditions.

After the ceremony, the couple was escorted out by bagpipe players and a drummer.  We then returned to Mission Hills Country Club for a gorgeous cocktail hour on the patio followed by dinner and dancing inside.  Just a perfect day.
