For New Years Eve we celebrated with Johnathan and Tricia. What can we say about a preacher from Texas you prayed for the right woman and a bride who lights up when her groom enters the room. I guess the only thing we can say now is thanks for the great party and the s’mores!
It was a bit cold that evening but after the ceremony we led everyone to Lenexa’s Sar Ko Park to take advantage of the fantastic Christmas lights on every tree and building.
They had lots of unique wedding details we just loved! Instead of programs they displayed individual photos of everyone in the wedding party complete with comments. Another nice touch was a “write a message on the chalkboard” corner where everyone wrote a personal message on the board and then had their picture taken.
Reception was held at 7th Street Event Center. An absolutely amazing building that has been completely remodeled for special events.
Affordable Catering had all kinds of great food to eat and our favorite dessert place in town, Nothing Bunt Cakes, provided the wedding cake with four different delicious flavors to choose!
At the reception party hats and costumes/props were available to put on for photos, which provided all night entertainment and personal photos the guests and the bride and groom.
Midnight kisses were available on each table provided by Hershey’s chocolate kisses.
At midnight the couple departed with lighted heart shaped sparklers sending them on their way by all the guests.
Happy Trails to you as you start your new life in Texas Johnathan and Tricia and may God Bless you both.
