Stunning Waterfront Wedding In Scottsdale, Arizona

The Hyatt Regency Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona provided an absolutely breathtaking backdrop to the lakefront wedding for Megan and Reed.  Surrounded by palm trees and blue mountains, the day was a complete get-away oasis.

While Megan prepared in an upstairs suite overlooking the ceremony grounds, Reed and the guys hung out at the beautiful outdoor bar.  Megan walked down the emerald green grass aisle, lined with red and yellow rose peddles, arm in arm with both mother and father as the string quartet played . Megan looked stunning in her lace covered wedding gown with the bridesmaids in simple but elegant strapless black dresses, “Every girl needs a little black dress!” During and after the ceremony, gondola boats floated by for an added touch of international flair and romance. Reed and Megan love the outdoors, as do Jeff and I, so we took advantage of the beautiful sun drenched day, blue sky, turquoise waters, and the spectacular flowers and trees that surrounded us.

Jeff and I arrived a few days before the wedding, as we usually do for our destination weddings, and enjoyed taking photographs of all the stunning nature that Arizona has to offer. (Not to mention the great coffee shops!)

Destination weddings like these remind Jeff and I just how lucky we are to share the most important day in peoples lives, wherever it may take us.
