If Nita and I ever had a mantra for Bride’s it would be, “Make your wedding day yours!” Amy and Pat lived downtown and took advantage of the totally fabulous Riverfront Park. So they walkways they frequented for pleasure and exercise became the backdrop for their Summer Wedding.
The ceremony took place at St. Peter’s Cathedral in Kansas City, KS where Amy’s family grew up across the street. After the ceremony, we boarded the bus and headed to the Town of Kansas Bridge near the City Market. The wedding party braved the heat as we strolled the bridge and worked our way down to the river. After another stop along the river and a quick break for cool drinks we headed to the Rumely Tractor Historic Event Space in the West Bottoms.
Amy and Pat did an amazing job of utilizing their church with so much family history and then combining this with their love for Downtown Kansas City. Make your wedding day yours.
